Meet the CEO

Rey's Velvet started in 2020 in Lithonia, Georgia. Being a man of many titles, founder Rey Mack never thought Baker would be one of them. Although he always saw his mom baking in the kitchen and the family raving over her desserts, Rey never thought twice about baking himself (especially anything that wasn't from a box).

Then, during the height of the pandemic, a genuine passion for baking was born. The decision to open a bakery became obvious for Rey, who had always dreamed of owning his own business.

Today, Rey's Velvet prides itself on bringing a nostalgically mouthwatering experience mixed with new tasteful memories. Just like grandma's is the foundation that Rey's Velvet holds true and dear. Each dessert is made from love with gentle crafting and nurturing care. ​
